Thank you for filling out the Tottenham vs RedBulls survey. We're still working on arranging the proper sized away section at Red Bull Arena but your responses will go along way in helping us get the biggest section possible. It should be a great day out.
Just to fill you in, we've been told by the Red Bulls ticket office that tickets won't go on general sale until late May. We wish it was sooner but that is what we've been told. The way this is likely to work is tickets will be sold directly through the Red Bulls ticket website/box office and all Spurs fans can access our section with a ticket code. We will of course fill you in with all the details closer to the on-sale date.
In 2010 we arranged this section to be GA seating so despite everyone having an assigned seat (your ticket will have a row and seat #) we asked everyone to be courteous and group together however they'd like. This way everyone doesn't have to deal with pooling money and trying to get a block of seats. Philly, LA, Boston, DC, Chicago, etc can all group together and we'll cut out a lot of hassle for everyone. This really works best for a lively away section. It's a nice little stadium too and offers a great view wherever you sit. If you were at the game in NY 2 years ago you'll know we had a great time and where your seat was didn't really matter much. Even better, this time the stadium should be full as the Red Bulls have included this in their season ticket package.
So right now the only people who have tickets are Season Ticket holders or people who bought a special 3 game pack that included this game. Please be patient and wait to access the NYSpurs Away section when it becomes available in May. With your feedback we're looking to have a section of 500+ so there will be room for everyone when they are ready to go on sale.
We're also working on arranging an official event with THFC so details on that as well when it becomes available.
